Create a video clip on behalf of the community - step-by-step instructions
You can post a clip in the VK community in two ways: through your personal profile and directly through the public. Now we will tell you how to do this step by step.
To post a clip on VK on behalf of the community, go to the clips section in any way. Provide all the necessary permissions - camera, microphone, location. Without them, it is impossible to shoot and post a clip.
Step 1 Shoot or upload a video
Turn on the camera and start shooting a clip. Or select a ready-made video from your phone. Make sure it meets all the requirements: vertical, no more than 1 minute in length, format – 9:16, resolution – no more than 1080 by 1920 pixels.
If you plan to upload only a part of the video, select the bitcoin data desired fragment from the timeline below. And click the check mark when you want to stop recording.
By the way: In the clip shooting mode, it is quite inconvenient to turn the camera on and off. But VKontakte has gesture control. Just lift two fingers up, as on the clip icon. And after 3 seconds, the recording will start automatically.

Step 2. Edit the clip
Edit your video. The VK clips section has many tools, almost like stories. You can add text, stickers, draw with a marker.

To add music to your VKontakte clips, click on the note icon. Start typing the track name. Select the desired one from the search results. Then, using the timing strip, specify the excerpt you want to add to your clip.

Important : Commercial VKontakte communities cannot freely add music to their clips. The library for clips contains tracks only "for non-commercial use". So, if you want to shoot a clip for brand promotion, it is better to record a video with music in advance. And check whether there will be any problems with the copyright of the track.
