The general rules are:

conciseness and style, not overloaded with elements, clarity and capacity of offer phrases and high-quality content;

emphasis on user convenience (UX/UI design creates a selling interface). In the most general terms: if an element is attached, it works; if there is an order form, it includes a minimum of fields;

adhere to established requirements for the structure, placing blocks in a certain order (for example, the first “call-to-action” block is placed at the end of the first screen, the second at the bottom of the page), highlighting the call to action in color;

exclusivity. Template backgrounds and pictures migrating from site to site, to put it mildly, do not add style to the landing page. The sales page should be special.
