Apple: A Brand on the Way to Ordinaryness

Post by asimj1 »

Until recently, the iPhone was the ultimate, even for me. It was a luxury product in the best sense of the word and, apart from the status, offered world-class product benefits. It's no wonder that the iPhone's success was so resounding in urban, innovation-loving Switzerland. Since this autumn, everything has changed - at least for me. My new iPhone 5S has been lying in its original packaging in the drawer of my office desk for three weeks. This was never the case with previous versions.

What happened? It began with the presentation saudi arabia rcs data of the latest iPhone generation in September. The biggest surprise of the once quasi-religious event was that there was not a single surprise. A faster processor? That's a given. A slightly improved camera? So what. A fingerprint sensor? Fine by me. Apple CEO Cook had trouble even selling the 5S and 5C models as new. Not a single real innovation like the new high-flyers from South Korea presented.

It was hard to believe: The new iPhone is here and there is nothing new about it, apart from the colorful covers of the "cheap version" 5C. This week, by the way, exactly the same thing happened with the new iPads . A little cosmetics, and that's it. As usual, I bought the new iPhone this year too. But somehow I lack the motivation to get to grips with it straight away.
