Step 2. Set goals and acquire resources

But if you need to convince someone who only cares about the impact on the company's revenue - that's OK too. You just need to speak in that person's language, for example, using a chart that visualizes the break-even point of an investment:Investment break-even point

If you’ve given the green light for SEO, it’s time to take the next step: setting goals and preparing resources.

How to Set SEO Goals
The ultimate goal of SEO is to reach potential users through organic search and convert them into customers. But it’s a high goal and difficult to achieve because it doesn’t tell you how to get there.

A more effective approach is to break down your big, high-level goals into smaller “segments” that will help you get closer to your results.

You can imagine SEO goals as a pyramid, with bahamas mobile database results at the top and smaller goals at the lower levels. The idea is to start at the bottom and work your way up.

For example, let’s say your goal is to rank in the top three for a keyword within six months. The goal pyramid for this outcome could look like this:Goal Pyramid

As you can see, we won’t be able to break things down into smaller, more actionable tasks with a single action rank higher for a keyword that will have a high chance of influencing the results.

Resources You Need
Resources mean costs, and startups need to be careful about that. While SEO doesn’t require any advertising budget or super expensive tools, it’s not a cost-free process.
