Content and community management (earned media)

Post by Bappy11 »

Running a campaign with a 'Facebook Fan Page App' as a campaign pivot can yield a lot for most consumer brands and is therefore one of the most important pillars of Facebook marketing. Don't just think of more fans on your Facebook page, but also measurably increase brand awareness within your target group(s), generate a direct increase in sales (online and/or offline) or increase your lead database. All examples of marketing goals that are perfectly achievable with a suitable Facebook 'Fan Page App' campaign. In a series of three articles in three weeks, I will share with you how to develop such a potentially very valuable Facebook campaign.

Facebook Marketing: 3 Main Activities
Professional Facebook marketing can be divided quite easily into three germany telegram data main types of activities:

Advertising (paid media)
Campaigning using a Facebook Fan Page App but also via print
Although all of these activities are discussed in this series of articles, I will mainly focus on the last category in this list: 'Campaigning using a Facebook App'. Many large brands such as Samsung Netherlands and KPN spend a considerable part of their marketing budget on deploying these types of Facebook campaigns in addition to the ongoing Facebook Ads and content campaigns; the two other main pillars of Facebook marketing. I have also experienced in practice that the space that Facebook offers with Fan Page Apps and 'Open Graph' (tapping into Facebook's user database and functions with your own Facebook App) is very suitable for creative consumer (and possibly also B2B) campaigns. For this type of campaign, the limit of what is possible is equal to the limit of your own creativity and Facebook expertise.

Facebook Marketing IS measurable
A common misconception about Facebook marketing and social media marketing in general is that it is difficult to measure. When in reality, almost everything that happens online can be measured! At least, that is true for Facebook. And no, you don't need expensive social media management tools for that.
