Pinterest launched the Pinterest API v5 on Tuesday, saying it marks the first time in the platform’s history that it has offered an open, developer-focused API that any developer can apply to access .
The Pinterest API v5 allows developers to quickly connect turkey mobile database to the Pinterest platform and build applications that enable faster content creation, with access to analytics for ads, Pins, and users.
The company called it a single API for developers to build apps and solutions for advertisers, creators, merchants and Pinners, adding that developers must agree to the platform’s developer guidelines and developer and API terms of service.
Tiered access is offered to developers, who can start with trial access and upgrade to standard once their product is ready to be shared with customers and users.
On the user side, Pinterest said it redesigned its OAuth 2.0 scopes with refreshable user access tokens to give Pinners control over the apps they grant access to.
And on the developer side, the Pinterest Developers interface has been overhauled to make it easier to add collaborators, learn best practices, and manage Pinterest apps.
