Ndèye Fatou Mboup, an expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and research assistant at IPAR, has been selected by the Ministry of Communications, Telecommunications and the Digital Economy to represent Senegal and Africa within the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI), alongside two other Senegalese experts.
She is part of the GPAI expert group responsible for innovation and commercialization.
As revealed by grain-africa.org, not only is she the youngest expert in this global partnership, but she is also the only African woman.

Ndèye Fatou Mboup is a serial entrepreneur specializing in creating digital solutions to solve global problems, based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In November 2021, she won the bronze medal at the Challenge and Innovation Forum in Qatar. In 2020, at the Africa-France Sustainable City Summit, she was the winner of the 1000 African Entrepreneurs Challenge.
She also won the national competition for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), organized by the Ministry of Telecommunications and Digital Economy. She was a finalist in the WSIS Prizes, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). In 2018, she became the first "Miss Geek" in Senegal's history.
A Big Data graduate from ISM's Digital Campus, Ndèye Fatou Mboup represented Senegal and placed in the top five in the "Smart Agriculture" category during a competition. Ultimately, she won the bronze medal, placing third behind Malaysia and Sweden.
