Google warns: if you don't have a responsive website, it will penalize your SEO

Post by pappu6329 »

If you are a regular reader of my blog or have ever asked me about creating or modifying your website, you know that I have always explained the importance of having a responsive web design adapted to all mobile devices , since there is an increasing number of Internet users who use their smartphone or tablet to browse the Internet to the detriment of using desktop and laptop computers.

But, if this doesn't seem like enough of a reason to start planning your website redesign now, perhaps you will find the news that Google , the main search engine in Spain and the world, has announced that as of April 21, any website that does not have a responsive web design will be penalized in terms of SEO positioning , meaning that websites that do not use this technology will see their position in the organic results (that is, those that are not paid for) of the American search engine delayed.

Apparently, this is because Google wants and needs to adapt its web positioning algorithm to the new ways of using the internet that users currently use. And the predominant trend of these new usability patterns is precisely that more and more mobile devices are surfing the Internet, since it is expected that they will soon surpass desktop or laptop computers that dominated the statistics until now.

Furthermore, this news should not come as a surprise to anyone, since Google has always been known for giving a lot of importance to websites that have high usability and interesting web content that adds value to the searches carried out by users.

What is particularly striking is the fact that Google has dominican republic telegram data announced that responsive web design will be very relevant in SEO positioning from now on, since it is not usual for the famous search engine to practically proclaim an SEO factor of its algorithm as mandatory with great fanfare.

So, if you are planning to create a new website in the near future or the one you currently have does not have responsive web design, I invite you to start rethinking it as something mandatory if you want to reach more customers through search engines so that your website can provide more benefits to your business or company through the Internet.

If you have any questions about this or would like a web quote that includes a responsive web design perfectly adapted to any type of mobile device, you can ask me for it without any obligation by clicking on this link.
