MisOutlets.com , an international portal that selects all the online fashion outlets and private sales clubs offers on a single web platform every day, presents the first edition of the “Online Outlets Barometer” , carried out through more than 3,500 interviews with MisOutlets.com users over 18 years of age. The Report will periodically analyse a comparison of the shopping experience of MisOutlets.com customers in the main online outlets and private sales clubs. These differ in that in the online outlet the user can access the offers without having to register, and in the private sales club such registration is necessary. The price, the selection of top brands, delivery times, shipping costs, return policy and customer service are the parameters analysed in the study, which according to the Director of the Barometer, Fernando del Rey, aims to become a reference for the sector.

How many online stores do you buy from?

More than 90% of respondents in the survey admit to having made online purchases at least in one outlet or in a private sales club. 85.1% of men and 88.7% of women have bought from more than one outlet. 52.3% of men and 59.6% of women admit to having bought from at least four portals. When it comes to 5 or more sites, there are always more women (44.9%) who admit to having bought from them than men (37.6%).

Where they buy more

Of the 15 online fashion sales portals taken into account in the study, Privalia (64.3%), BuyVip (41.2%) and Vente Privee (35.9%) are the three where most people have stated that they have bought something at some point. Privalia is number 1 in terms of volume of purchases for both sexes. DreiVip is ranked among the five sites where men make the most purchases. For women, Private Outlet is ranked among the five. The best-rated stores have profiles on Facebook and Twitter, but users still rate customer service through traditional channels higher than on social networks.

The Spanish provinces where most users make online purchases are Madrid (15.15%) and Barcelona (11.27%) and by age, users between 26 and 35 years old are the ones who buy the most (37%), followed by those between 36 and 45 years old (32%).

Spartoo, the best rated

Spartoo is the best rated of all the outlets and sales clubs, with an average score of 3.70 out of 5. Its best-rated parameters are the selection of top brands offered and the delivery time.

The outlets where most people say they have bought (Privalia, BuyVip and Vente Privée) are usa phone number list not the best rated, although all of them receive an average score of more than 3.4 out of five from their buyers. The three best rated, Spartoo, Dress for Less and QueMePongo, belong to the outlet category.

While retail clubs are known for their prices and top brand offerings, outlets attract customers for their fast delivery and return policy.

Users are satisfied with the prices and dissatisfied with the shipping costs

The parameters with the highest scores and with which users seem to be most satisfied are the price of the products (3.82) and the selection of top brands (3.86). The aspect with which consumers are most dissatisfied is the shipping costs, which is the parameter with the lowest score, with 2.83. In relation to prices, sales clubs always receive a better score than outlets, but the latter stand out especially for their return policy and for their shipping costs.
