It was supposed to be a stopover of a couple of days, in fact on the morning of January 10, ready to leave again, we notified the port that we were about to leave.

So the port of Formentera became our base for 8 months .

We started

Scientific expertise, creativity and the enthusiasm of the children were on our side.

So my husband gets in touch with the communications office of his organization, the INFN, which sponsors us.

The project “ Physics among the Waves ” is born, a series of scientific and environmental dissemination conducted by our children .

The first 10 episodes were about energy sustainability , the second series on: “What are cosmic rays?” .

It became a success, so much so that it was also broadcast on Rai Gulp.

Later, “ Shibumi floating lab ” was born and our houseboat became a floating laboratory where scientific and environmental projects converge.

Some of these were developed in collaboration with the CNR-ISMAR marine science institute.
