TOO MUCH ADVERTISING DISTRACTS ATTENTION

Post by asimj1 »

Websites with too much advertising are not attractive to the public and therefore not to advertisers. This is the result of a survey carried out by Burst Media in the United States.

According to this survey, 75.5% of users say that websites loaded with advertising interfere with their ability to pay attention to any advertisements. Although online advertising is generally welcomed, the level of tolerance is not very high: 29.9% of users abandon websites saturated with advertising as soon as possible. And women tolerate it less than men: 32.1% versus 27.5%.

The fact that there are too many ads also binance data has a negative effect on the products and services advertised. 52.4% of respondents say that their liking for a product decreases when it appears on a page saturated with advertising; among women this percentage rises to 56.4%, while among men it is 48.3%. And the older the person is, the less tolerant they are of too much advertising: while among the 18-24 age group, 46.8% of individuals say they are against websites with too much advertising, among those over 55 the percentage rises to 63.2%.

According to Chuck Moran, author of the Burst Media study , the advertising industry is facing a serious problem in the face of this data. Advertisers must be careful to place their advertising in high-quality contexts and, whenever possible, in an exclusive manner. This has an effect on the brand's reputation and revenue.
