5 SEO guidelines for good content

Post by tongfkymm44 »

Use long tail keywords .
We all dream of positioning ourselves for short keywords, those that a greater number of users are looking for, but realistically this is very difficult to achieve since they are generally very competitive keywords. Therefore, the most appropriate thing is to define long tail keywords to create our content . This will allow us to have more chances of getting a good position in the Google ranking, while at the same time we will better refine the target, since we will reach people with a more specific interest in our services.

Structure the content well
When writing an article, there are a number of guidelines that must always be denmark email list followed to improve its positioning . These are the main ones.

The title should be around 60 characters and include the main keyword.
Define a meta description of around 150 characters that clearly describes the content of the article and includes the keyword.
Structure the text with H1, H2, H3, etc. tags.
Optimize the URL to make it as clear and concise as possible.
The length of the article should be around 1000-1500 words without having to force the texts to reach this amount.
Videos and images matter too
Until recently, there was a belief that only text helped with web positioning, and to a certain extent this is true, since it is what works the fastest. However, videos , infographics and images capture the reader's attention more quickly , so they also become key pieces of a good content marketing and SEO strategy .

So that Google can read and interpret your audiovisual content, it is essential to tell it what is in it. In the case of images, this is done through the ALT tag; while in videos , if they are uploaded to YouTube, you will have to add an attractive title with the keyword, a description that includes the main keyword, outgoing links and tags.

Don't forget the CTAs

All content is written with a purpose, so you must be clear about what yours is and reflect it through CTAs ( Call to action ) that encourage the user to convert. What do you want, for them to download an ebook? Do you want them to subscribe to the newsletter? Do you want them to get in touch with you? Design an attractive CTA and insert it at the end of the article so that when the user finishes reading, they don't immediately leave the website, but continue browsing it and end up leaving their data.

Try to make your content evergreen

If you haven't heard of the evergreen concept , it refers to all valuable content that continues to be relevant to the user over time . This type of content is a goldmine for any website, as it becomes a reference piece that is constantly shared and this improves positioning, while at the same time achieving high ' page authority' for the page, which is also positive for SEO.

It would be a mistake to think of Inbound Marketing without thinking of SEO , and vice versa. One goes hand in hand with the other and 'Fred' is the one who makes sure they don't get separated.
