Don't use the same words or similar terms in multiple assets

Post by ishanijerin1 »

It's not a good idea to use the same word multiple times across multiple assets.

Whatever your focus keywords are, limit them to a maximum of two or three across all your assets.

If you enter two or more of the same word, and it is determined that the word is highly relevant to the keyword, ad copy that combines multiple of the same word will be delivered.

Here is the response from Google Ads when a specific asset was not displayed.

Regarding RSA, I believe that it is restricted not because of the policy regarding it as a sensitive product, but because "functionality is limited due to the use of overlapping words."

If you set duplicate expressions in multiple headlines or descriptions, the system's ability to create ad combinations may be limited, resulting in
poor optimization and some variations of the headline or description not being displayed.

It's hard to explain in words.

I would like to give you an example of a bad thing that I actually did.

This happened when I created responsive search ads to promote cat food.

In order to communicate the quality of our cat food, we set "satisfaction," which indicates the level of customer reaction, as an asset.

(Title)
● 98% of cats are satisfied with this cat food
● Your cat's satisfaction rate [Astonishing 98%]

(Description)
● Satisfaction rate is 98%! Eat delicious, healthy boost your business with our doctor database food every day. Try it for free with the first-time customer only.

The above title and description were set as assets.

Of course, we also created 13 other title assets and 3 descriptions and started distributing them.

As a result, the combination of this asset did not turn out as expected.
