Difference between number of sessions and number of page views
Along with sessions, another metric often used in access analysis is PV (page view) . PV is an indicator for measuring how often a website is viewed, and indicates the number of times a specific page on the website is opened.
Both the number of sessions and the number of pageviews are important indicators, so let's look at how to count them here.
[Case 1] When moving between three pages on a website using one browser

In this case, it will be 1 session and 3 PV.
[Case 2] If you visit two pages on a website using philippines telegram phone number list one browser, watch TV, leave the browser for 30 minutes, and then visit a different page on the website

In this case, the session will end 30 minutes after the second page is opened. This results in 2 sessions and 3 PV.

If the browser is changed, it will be a different session, so it will be 2 sessions and 3 PV.
GA4 has two types: "session" and "session_start"
A metric very similar to sessions is session_start. In GA4 , sessions and session_start were initially counted with the same definition, but are now treated as separate definitions. We will explain in detail below.
