Content Marketing: Study shows 85% use in the region

The Internet and particularly Social Networks have changed the way people consume and exchange information. This is one of the motivations for having carried out a 2nd Content Marketing Study of Latin America and Spain.

This change has led companies and brands to focus more and more on the needs of users and how they can satisfy them.

The 2nd Content Marketing Study of Latin America and Spain has provided key information on the increase in the positive perception of these actions and their impact on companies' marketing strategies.

57% of marketers surveyed find the implementation of Content Marketing to be between successful and very successful .

Also, 45% indicate that their Content Marketing strategy greatly influences the company's marketing and advertising actions.



One of the most interesting trends this year is that the companies studied claim to have increased content generation by 60% compared to 2015 .

"We are in an era where content is the protagonist of every action. If the goal is to reach more people and retain current customers, you must bet heavily on Content," says Hernán Vázquez, SVA Analyst at AMX Paraguay SA

This is due to the interest that it arouses among Internet users and the attractiveness that these content formats offer. The public is attracted to them and interacts more with them.

This is what Mauricio Castillo, from the Communications Department at Compensar, says: "Convergence with new formats will be key to communicating with new audiences; traditional content does not impact them."

The popularity of these formats is also evident in the Content Marketing Study for Latin America and Spain.

Although not all social networks work for all companies, as it depends a lot on each one's audience, Facebook continues to be the most important when it comes to sharing and promoting content.

45% of respondents say they publish new content every day through their communication channels. This shows that part of success lies not only in quality but also in consistency.
