Classic Marketing Analytics

Post by nusaiba129 »

Marketing campaigns always involve creating some kind of message embedded in the content. However, today too many Internet marketers do not understand the basic marketing technologies and practices, because hungary consumer email list in general the process revolves around five components of the promotion mix, and promotion is one of the four P's in product marketing:

Direct marketing;
Advertising;
Trade Marketing;
Personal sales;
PR.

When marketers brainstorm before launching a new campaign, they ask themselves questions like:

Who is our target audience and what are our goals?
What is the best message for this audience?
Based on our goals, what strategies within the promotion mix should we use to convey this message?
What online and/or offline channels should you use to reach your audience?
What content should we use based on the previous four answers?
How can we measure results based on metrics appropriate to each promotion mix strategy we will use?
Strategy, message and marketing content matter much more than the distribution channel.

Example: Let's say you use every tactic possible to get a New York Times reporter to write about your company. The article ends up in print and on the website. The article spreads across social media, newsgroups, and news aggregators. That's why there is no such thing as digital PR, just PR. The best practices for distributing material to gain greater reach have never changed, no matter what channels emerge in the future.

Another example from direct marketing: Let's say someone writes ads to collect leads (direct response leads). These same ads will produce the same results, regardless of the topic and specification of each channel - direct mail, email, Facebook ads, Google AdWords - because human nature remains the same.

Therefore, in essence, there is no “Internet marketing” or “classical marketing” - there is only marketing.
