Step 3: Change DNS
If you registered your domain name with Hostgator when signing up for reseller hosting, you can skip this step.
For those who have registered the domain name with another domain name registrar , the next step will be to change the DNS .
This process will take 24-48 hours until your website starts resolving on Hostgator's server.
Step 4: Create Web Hosting Packages
Next, you can create packages, also known as pricing plans. The best practice is to create at least three different pricing packages. Make sure to allocate specific resources like disk quota, monthly bandwidth, maximum number of email accounts, etc. to each package.
You can create your package by logging into Hostgator’s WHM (Web Host Manager). Once you’ve done that, you’ll be ready to create a new account. You can do this under Account Roles in Hostgator’s WHM. Fill in the details here and you’ll be ready to go.
Step 5:
Use an FTP client or cPanel to switzerland consumer email list upload the client's website to your reseller hosting account.
Keep in mind that you may want to customize your web hosting interface before handing out account credentials to your customers. You can replace the HostGator logo with your logo and make any necessary changes to white label your web hosting company.
