The strategic plan is always based on long-term forecasts and is related to labor resources, the volume of goods produced, planned production stocks, purchasing and sales plans, the general development strategy of the company, etc.

Important! The volume and range of manufactured goods must satisfy demand without exceeding the limits of available material stocks.
In this case, the plan is made by product groups. Products are assigned to a certain category based on a number of features that allow one product to be distinguished from another (grade, model, brand, precision class, article, style, etc.).
When planning the production of a certain quantity of goods, priority should be given to products in high demand (information should be provided by the sales department staff).
