How do change management processes work?

ADKAR model
Jeff Hiatt's ADKAR model focuses on employee involvement. The model is divided into five phases, which together form the acronym "ADKAR":

1. Awareness
As a first step, you should identify potential for improvement in your company and think about concrete actions. You should communicate these measures openly within the company so that awareness of the upcoming changes is created. Explain to your employees exactly why the change is necessary and communicate the extent of the change. Make sure that everyone knows if, when and how much they will be affected.
