First of all, it is necessary turkey email list to deal with IT managers, since it is with them that the CIO will have to work the most. Then it is necessary to decide on specialists (managers will help with this). It is worth considering that at first, in order to preserve and maintain the existing position, the loyalty of the CIO deputies takes precedence over their level of professionalism. But if it is necessary to solve problems related to the development of the company as quickly as possible, then the most experienced employees should be selected.

Often, before being appointed to the CIO position, a manager already has his own team, which he wants to keep while moving up the career ladder. It is important to do this in such a way as not to cause strong rejection among the core team. It is necessary to keep key specialists.

When changing the IT structure, the CIO should not reduce the salaries and positions of employees, unless he or she is going to fire them. Otherwise, they may become less loyal. This will lead to the staff quickly starting to look for a new job. It is also better not to deprive a person of a comfortable workplace or a separate office (unless this is caused by a general move of the entire company). Therefore, it is better to fire an employee than to reduce his or her salary and worsen working conditions (provided that these conditions are maintained for other employees). Otherwise, the CIO will get an embittered and disinterested team member.

Retaining and promoting the best representatives of the old team will be positively perceived by the team. However, new managers in the management team are needed to increase the level of loyalty. Therefore, it is worthwhile to start changing people with direct deputies. This will also help the CIO reduce the risk of being replaced by his deputy. Deputies, in turn, should form (under the leadership of the CIO) a productive team in their departments.
