Toruń. You are standing in the old town square and you see the gardens of several restaurants around you. It is summer, you feel like having a beer or something cold. Most of the gardens are empty because it is quite early. Only one of them is bustling with life. Music is playing, people are sitting at tables and having a good time. How likely is it that you will want to visit this place? Very likely.

The principle of social proof tells us that these people had good reasons to choose this place. It must be better. Don't you believe that this is how it works? And have you ever found a toothpaste effective because it is recommended by dentists all iran rcs data over the world? Or maybe you started washing your laundry at Dosi because 90% of housewives can't tell the difference between it and an expensive powder. And if you can't tell the difference - why pay more? Remember that everyone has Mamba.

Catchy slogans, expert and survey opinions, or an artificial crowd of satisfied customers are not the only ways to use social proof in marketing. I will write more about it another time. If you want to know more now – write to me or ask a question in the comments.
