Abrapp Vice President and Director of Institutional Relations Murilo Xavier Flores and General Superintendent Eduardo Lamers held a meeting with the team of Federal Court of Auditors Minister Walton Alencar Rodrigues to discuss the proposed Normative Instruction that regulates the agency's oversight procedures for Previc and the Closed Supplementary Pension sector. They were received by Chief of Staff Bruno Sá de Abreu this Thursday (January 30) at the TCU in Brasília.
The purpose of the hearing was to reaffirm Abrapp's collaborative stance with the intention of establishing premises to create an environment of greater legal certainty in the ceo email database discussion of the new rule. "We are not afraid of being audited. Our concern is that there is no overlapping of competences to the detriment of Previc, which is an increasingly better structured and prepared agency. Therefore, we expressed our position of valuing Previc and this does not mean that the TCU should not audit, but that the competences are well defined", explained Murilo Flores.
One of the highlights was the explanation of how deficit balancing processes work. “We explained that caution is needed when considering this type of balancing procedure. We sought to show that the occurrence of deficits is not linked to poor management, but rather, in most cases, to fluctuations in interest rates, markets and changes in longevity,” said the Vice President of Abrapp.
