I think the accusation that the AfD and its excesses are being reported on too much, especially on ARD and ZDF, is justified. The question that needs to be asked today is whether the major broadcasters are partly to blame for the AfD's success. According to Carsten Reinemann, Professor of Communication Science at the Ludwig austria rcs data Maximilian University in Munich, "The more often a party appears in the media, the more positively it is reported on, or the more its issues are in the spotlight, the more likely a populist party is to benefit." For him, media success equals electoral success.

However, the AfD deserves credit for addressing issues that most parties have deliberately swept under the carpet. one of the most important issues that preoccupied the people in public discussions during the election campaign. The AfD addressed dissatisfied people directly. It dared to openly criticize the euro and foreign infiltration. But there were repeated attempts to punish AfD critics and put them in the right-wing corner. In a democracy, people must be allowed to express their opinions freely, even on uncomfortable topics. But the AfD's questions were mostly stifled in discussions. It is problematic when the fear of foreign infiltration is only dispelled with polemical arguments.
