SBB-Meyer is uncomfortable

Post by asimj1 »

SBB boss Andreas Meyer is a famous man: he will soon be smiling happily into the cameras and opening the new Neat tunnel. He is also omnipresent in other ways: be it on the TV show "Swiss of the Year", where he gives away tickets, or at some other glamorous appearance that has to do with the railways and where he assists his boss, Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard. To put it bluntly: no celebration without Meyer. For this - but not only for this - the SBB CEO is sufficiently rewarded.

But now a problem has arisen. An extremely mexico rcs data tasteless swastika poster is put up in Zurich's main station - and later in Geneva's - and is removed again after fierce protests. And rightly so. On the one hand, not every provocation deserves this description, and on the other hand, it is absurd that the very people who insist on political correctness every second want to understand the Nazi symbol as an expression of political opinion. But that is another story.

Making the SBB the sole scapegoat is not cheap. Ultimately, they are neither the originator nor sponsor of the whole action. The poster was booked as a matter of routine and most likely put up in the main station without any further checking of the motif, like hundreds of other posters every day.
