Facade painting: technology

brush or roller;
a sanding machine with a fine canada mobile database for timber or two attachments for simple timber;
paint and varnish material;
primer – antiseptic;
brush.
First, the facade is cleaned of dirt and dust, after which it is sanded. The quality of the painting depends on the quality of the sanded surface. After sanding, it is necessary to clean the prepared surface with a brush.

Attention! You can clean the surface as quickly as possible using a regular vacuum cleaner with a blower function. The next step is to apply the primer. It is recommended to apply it in two layers, treating all cracks and bends. The second layer should be applied only after the first one has dried, namely after 30-60 minutes.

The next step is applying the paint and varnish coating. The outer wall should be painted in two or three layers. How long each of them dries directly depends on the type of paint. As a rule, this is indicated on the packaging.

If you use a brush for painting, you must move it only vertically. Otherwise, the strokes will be uneven, and the quality of painting will suffer. You can paint the walls of a house made of timber outside with your own hands, especially since we provide photos and videos of this process, but if you do not have the time and skills, it is better to resort to the help of specialists.

The drying speed of different types of paint varies. Moreover, paints made on volatile solvents and those that have a water-emulsion base dry the fastest. Oil paints dry the longest. If you add siccatives to the paint, it will dry much faster than the simple classic version.
