Aremberg, or d'Aremberg. A cross inscribed in a square, inscribed in a rhombus, inscribed in a square. Named after the ducal family of Arenberg and the castle of the same name in Belgium
Sheremetyevskaya star. A hexagon made up of three rhombuses, named after the Sheremetyev (Sheremetev) count family. The rhombuses can be solid or consist of several separate stripes (relevant for large sizes). Each of the three rhombuses that make up the hexagon can have a different tint from the others, which creates a 3D effect.

Design and dimensions
The engineered modular parquet board consists of a malaysia mobile database base and parquet rivets of the valuable layer glued to it from above. The thickness of the valuable layer in engineered parquet is usually 3-4 mm, the thickness of the plywood base is 10-12 mm.
The panel of solid modular parquet consists only of parquet rivets, glued together by side and end faces, without a base. The thickness of the parquet rivets, and therefore the entire panel, is usually 15, 16 or 20 mm (for the Russian market).
The dimensions of the shield are not regulated and vary depending on the design, production capabilities and customer needs. In most cases, it is a square with a side from 400 to 600 mm, but other sizes and shapes (diamonds, hexagons, etc.) are also common.
The panels (modules) of modular parquet are connected to each other using a tongue and groove joint or a dowel. In the second case, a groove is milled along the perimeter of the module, and the modules are joined to each other using a narrow wooden strip – a dowel. One side of the dowel is inserted into the groove of one panel, the other – into the groove of the other. Solid modular parquet may not have a connecting profile due to the difficulty of cutting it.
Modular parquet, made with a tongue and groove design, allows you to fasten panels with any sides to each other, and not just one, predetermined. For some decors, this is a significant advantage - the panels can be turned, thereby obtaining a new pattern, and for this there is no need to saw off the ridge of the locking joint (the locking joint dictates the position of the panel during installation).
In addition, if modular parquet is laid directly on the screed - when the panels cannot be screwed to the base with parquet screws - the tongue and groove, connecting the modules together, additionally strengthens the entire floor structure.
Structurally, modular parquet comes in two types: solid and engineered.
