By default, Google Analytics will give you data for the past 7 days, so you'll need to change the time frame using the features in the top right corner of the page.

You can view data from the first day you set up the tool on your site to the current date. You can also compare the number of sessions year over year or over a specific period.

By default, a session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. However, you can change the time limit for a session. A session can be as short as one minute or as long as four hours.

When choosing a new session length, consider your site and industry type. Google offers some suggestions to help you get started:

If your site logs users out after a certain period of inactivity, Google Analytics recommends setting the session timeout to match that length of time.
If your site has a lot of content, you want users to spend a long time engaging with that content. Consider increasing session time.
If you have a low-content site, consider shortening your session time.
If you decide to change the timeout setting, remember that the modification affects only future data.

Change settings

1. Select the gear tools in the lower left corner of the new zealand mobile database page. Open Admin.

2. Use the drop-down menus to select the account and property you want to edit:

3. In the Properties column, choose Tracking Information, and then choose Session Settings:
"" width="1966" height="1114"
4. Under Timeout Handling, use the controls to set the session timeout. Select Apply:

"" width="1800" height="930"
What is the difference between a session and a page view?
A pageview occurs every time a user's browser visits a page on your website. It represents the number of times a user clicks on a specific URL. However, a single session can record multiple page views that occur while a visitor is on your website.
