Wired network performance and USB port

Post by Rina7RS »

As you can see, the ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG19P offers a lot of advanced features that are useful for small and medium businesses. However, to use them all, you should pair this wired router with other ExpertWiFi networking equipment, such as switches and access points.

When I reviewed the ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG19P wired router, I ran a few tests: First, I ran its built-in IPERF tool, which produces standardized network performance measurements. The throughput measured by this tool was 936.1 Mbps.

Next, I ran SpeedTest on a PC connected directly to the hungary telegram data router. My internet connection has a maximum download speed of 1 Gbps and an upload speed of 800 Mbps. As you can see, the ExpertWiFi EBG19P router achieved 919.7 Mbps when downloading data from the internet and 689.42 Mbps when uploading data. In the image below, you can see how it compares to the ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG15 router that I recently reviewed.

Finally, I connected the portable SSD to the ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG19P’s USB port and transferred data between the desktop and the SSD. The router’s USB 3.2 Gen 1 port delivered fast download speeds of 867.10 Mbps. Unfortunately, uploads were much slower, but they were still fast enough to allow users to transfer data relatively quickly.
