I ask if someone can give the status of the latest continuous improvement actions. A silence falls and after a minute there is still no answer. The team members look at each other a little as if they do not understand my request. I put them back in context by saying that at the end of the previous sprint, therefore at the 49th retrospective , they were supposed to take improvement actions to be carried out during sprint 50. I then ask them who were the bearers of these actions?
A team member finally speaks up to say that they didn't take any action last time. spain telegram data I then ask if they are able to give the actions taken at the 48th retrospective ? And then those of sprint 47? etc... There, the person ends up letting go that they never take improvement actions at retrospectives.
I then ask them about the usefulness of the retrospective? Talking to each other, exchanging, saying what was positive, what was negative… I agree and point out that the conversation is getting back on track. Then I ask what they do with their exchanges, how they convert them into results? As I insist, they end up saying that they do nothing else but that, exchanging in retrospect without any action behind it.
