Saas
SaaS or Software as a Service is a software delivery model where applications are hosted in the cloud and accessed via the internet. Users do not need to install or manage the software locally, but can access it via a web browser or mobile application. SaaS providers typically offer pay-as-you-go pricing.

See IaaS, PaaS

SecNumCloud
SecNumCloud is a security label proposed by ANSSI for CSPs . It is a prerequisite to be considered a trusted cloud . A cloud stamped SecNumCloud is to be preferred to host strategic or sovereign applications.

ServerLess
Serverless is a new cloud architecture that allows you to create and deploy applications without having to manage the underlying servers. The CSP dynamically allocates resources and bills them based on consumption. This architecture model is based on the pooling of resources. It is certainly powerful, offering great scalability, but remains limited to specific uses.

ServerLess architectures are currently divided between synchronous function-based architectures or FaaS , and asynchronous event-driven architectures.

Managed Service
The managed service is directly consumable. Its economic model is often based between a mix of payment per consumption and subscription. Hyperscalers offer a large number of managed services in PaaS mode .

Example of managed services: database, APM, Telecom Services, devOps tools, ai/data platform, etc.

See PaaS

TTM
TTM stands for “Time to Market” and refers to the length of time it takes taiwan telegram data to bring a product or service to market. In the context of the cloud , TTM can be reduced by the ability to provision quickly and without investing resources.

Vendor lock-in
Vendor lock-in occurs when a company becomes too dependent on a particular supplier. This makes it difficult to switch suppliers and leaves the company dependent on a business model that it does not control. It is therefore important to consider the risks of vendor lock-in when selecting suppliers. Managed services are project accelerators for TTM but can make the company captive to a particular CSP .

Virtualization
Virtualization is a technology that allows creating isolated and independent computing environments from a single physical infrastructure using a hypervisor. It allows consolidating multiple operating systems, applications, and services on a single physical machine. Virtualization is commonly used for creating virtual machines, virtual networks, and virtual storage.

Containerization extends this concept of resource sharing to a higher level.
