Before you start working with reports, I suggest you first consider your data retention settings. To do this, go to the Admin section . There, find the Data collection menu and select Data retention .
In this section, you will see settings for Event data and User data , which determine how long they are stored. There are two options: 2 months or 14 months. By default, when creating a resource, the storage is set to 2 months.
Why do you need this? The data retention setting sweden telegram data allows you to choose a period of time after which user or event data will be automatically deleted from GA servers. This setting does not affect standard summary reports from the Reports block or on-property parameters, but it does affect the Explore block and conversion sequence reports, such as the Funnel report.
It is recommended that you change the retention period to 14 months, unless otherwise specified in your campaign. This will ensure that the data in the Explore block is accessible for a longer period.
If you want to access data from previous years, it is recommended to link GA with BigQuery. To do this, go to the Product links tab and find BigQuery in the list. This service allows you to store data for the entire period, while the GA interface allows you to create advanced reports based on data from the last 14 months only.
