When we started the report, it was perhaps more of a question of conscience. “Should we include Social Media use in a study of e-mail marketing?” It says something about the maturity of the organization's e-mail marketing and how they deal with customer communication. A few years ago I would have said 'no' with conviction, but now we have included it. To reassure you: I am not a social media expert .
