In Figma I do prototyping and then drawing the layout for the website. I choose this tool because:
1) it can be opened in a browser , i.e. it is easy to present to the customer, because it is enough to send a link. In Photoshop, for example, you need to open a file either in pdf or psd format, which is much more difficult.
2) minimalistic tools . This means that all the tools are useful and there is nothing superfluous, as again in the same Photoshop.
3) Figma has the ability to create "templates" that can be used in further work and not redo everything from the very beginning each time.
4) you can create simple vector graphics .
Adobe Photoshop
In the design field, this program needs no introduction. Almost every web designer knows it. Here you can edit photos, videos, and also create and edit raster images and animations.
Pros of Working in Adobe Photoshop
1. Supports most file formats. This includes JPG, PNG, TIFF and others.
2. Many options for correcting and editing images of any format.
3. Ability to work in a program with Russian language support. This is quite good if your level of English leaves much to be desired.
4. Plugins. They can be used to expand the capabilities of the software. Moreover, there are a huge number of them.
5. Tutorials. You can find them on the Internet. There are many different videos, articles and even free courses for learning how to work in this program.
Disadvantages of Working in Adobe Photoshop
1. Licensed version. Everything would be fine, but without this you will not be able to fully work in the editor.
2. The system requirements must be high, otherwise the program will slow down and will not allow you to work normally.
3. Skills and experience in working with the program are very necessary. Without them, it will be quite difficult to understand the functionality. It is easy for a beginner to get lost in the complex names of tools and operating principles.
