Last Wednesday, the 2-day congress iStrategy , the 'Global Digital Media Conference', started. The visitors are mainly senior managers and CMOs of brands and media parties who come together to discuss the consequences of digital media for their business operations. From the presentations, the tweets from the audience and the Q&A sessions, it became clear that 3 things were top-of-mind among the visitors: how do you measure the ROI when using Twitter and Facebook?
I as the location. Upon entering, it was also clear from the large number of Samsonite suitcases that the visitors had come from all over Europe for this event. But also from the German panama phone number list Greek, Italian and Spanish that I heard around me that day. In any case, it promised to be an interesting day. And that could hardly be otherwise with such a strong program . The iStrategy team reported live on Twitter about the event. Of course, there was also a lot of e-tweeting from the audience , so that the entire event could also be followed well via Twitter.
Customer Centricity at Philips
The opening keynote was provided by our Dutch pride (and also main sponsor) Philips and had the subject 'Customer Centricity in a Multichannel World'. According to Thomas Marzano , Creative Director Online Brand Communications at Philips Design, design and creativity are central within Philips. It is mainly about designing for consumers: user centered design. This goes further than market research or a focus session. You really have to understand how consumers interact with your brand, your product and the product category. He calls this the 'experience flow'.
