São Paulo, October 2023 - On Wednesday, October 18, 100 Open Startups , a pioneering and leading open innovation platform in Latin America, announced the 100 Open Startups 2023 Ranking, which recognizes the most attractive startups for the corporate market in the country. In addition to the TOP 100, the leaders in open innovation in 30 market categories were also recognized.
In the EdTech sector, there were 207 startups with validated open california business email list contracts with corporations, representing a growth of 16% compared to last year. For the fourth consecutive year, Ludos Pro is among the main startups in the country.

To reach a TOP 10 position among EdTech startups, 130 points were needed, objectively measured based on the number and type of open innovation relationships established with corporations. Among the innovation trends most explored among EdTech startups, “Artificial Intelligence”, “Big Data & Analytics” and “Gamification” stand out. In addition, the corporate sectors that most related to these startups were “Education Services”, with 12.5% of the relationships, followed by “Financial Services” (7.3%) and “Professional Services” (7.1%).
“When considering the value contracted by startups to corporations, there was a 93% increase in Open Innovation activity , reaching a total of R$325 million contracted in the 2023 ranking period”, comments Bruno Rondani, CEO and founder of 100 Open Startups.
Published since 2016, the 100 Open Startups Ranking showed that the hiring of startups by corporations more than doubled in the last year. The volume of Open Innovation contracts between Corporations and Startups increased from R$2.8 billion to R$6.4 billion in the period, which represents a growth of 130%. In 2023, the Ranking registered more than 32 thousand registered open startups, of which 4,177 had validated contracts - about 31% more than the 25 thousand registered last year, when 3,821 had validated contracts.
The awards ceremony took place at a Gala Night at the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, in partnership with the City of Rio de Janeiro and Finep (Financier of Studies and Projects). On the occasion, the corporations that confirmed the most contracts with startups during the period and the ecosystem agents that most supported these startups and award-winning corporations were also recognized.
