Other Cool Keyboard Shortcuts on macOS

Post by bitheerani319 »

Hot commands are not only for working with applications or texts. There are other commands that will speed up and make it easier for you to use your laptop in general.

Command + Delete e — the combination deletes files in many applications. After switching from Windows, it is quite unusual that the regular Delete key works exclusively in combination with Cmd.

Command + Option + Esc — Forces the dominican republic mobile database to close. A sort of analogue of the Windows task manager, launched by keys located nearby if the application freezes.

Command + Control + Space is a combination that adds various special characters, symbols, emoji or Latin letters.

Command + < — quick access to application settings. Useful for those who often reconfigure settings instead of using a mouse or trackpad.

Command + Shift + 3 — hotkeys for taking a screenshot in macOS. This will launch a separate application that will take a screenshot of the entire screen.

Option + Brightness key — adjusts the display settings. You can activate auto-brightness, turn on True Tone, or adjust Night Shift if it makes your monitor look too yellow.

Here's another important keyboard shortcut for former Windows laptop users. This is especially useful for those who are very used to pressing the Start key to log out, or simply closing the laptop to do so. On a MacBook, all you have to do is press Command + Control + Q in any application, and your laptop screen will be locked. Convenient!
