The 2022 project portfolio included 43 projects distributed across the 5 result areas. We were able to successfully achieve our goals, achieving a performance of 85% of the agreed deliveries.

Within the scope of the “Efficient Collection” result area, revenue from own taxes was, in general, higher than the values of 2021, with finland mobile database growth of 14.5%, with the main protagonist being the ISS, which grew by 27.5%. This result demonstrates the strength of the local economy and the prospect of sustained growth in own revenue due to the correct incentives for the private sector.

In the “Fiscal Management” results area, the Revenue Equalization Fund stands out , which ended the year with the amount of R$760 million, reflecting the good results achieved by the financial investment policy. We also participated in the creation of the National Forum of Sovereign Funds, which includes the participation of Niterói, Maricá, Ilhabela and the State of Espírito Santos to establish common governance principles and provide greater security to the institutionality of such reserve funds for subnational entities.

Regarding the result area “Citizen-Focused Service Modernization”, we highlight the implementation of PIX for tax payments. Since the implementation of PIX in October 2022, it has been possible to collect more than R$6 million through this modality.

In the “Qualified and Transparent Information” result area, the main result was the approval of Niterói's financial statements for 2021 unanimously by the Court of Auditors of the State of Rio de Janeiro (TCE).

Finally, the “Institutional Development” area was responsible throughout 2022 for deepening the organizational culture through the management of knowledge, people and projects in the organization. On November 4th, Tax Employee Day, we inaugurated the Farm Memory Center – a permanent museum that rescues the history of Palácio Arariboia and values the importance of the institution and its employees for the history of the city.
