New format panel
The new format panel is now available to everyone! This has also been pushed to the PBI Service. We appreciate everyone who provided valuable feedback throughout the preview to help us get here. That doesn’t mean the improvements stop there. We’re still actively listening to your feedback. Please add it directly to this blog post or to the community forum here.
Improvements made this month:
Fixed a blocking bug to ensure the analytics dashboard works for custom visuals where applicable.
Fixed a bug that removed the log scale applied to the horizontal axis. This affected line, area, stacked area, combo, or scatter charts set prior to the April 2022 reports. The issue has now been resolved.
When changing a blank page to tooltip size, we automatically enable the "allow use as tooltip" option to save you a step!
Updates to error bars
This month, you’ll notice that we’ve redesigned the Error Bars card in the Analytics dashboard to simplify the structure of the formatting options. With fewer subcards to scroll through, you can more easily find and customize the various elements you want to see in your error bars. The main changes are that the line options have now been moved to the Error Band subcard, and the marker options have also been moved to the Bar and Band cards.
