The Scrum Guide stipulates that a Scrum team consists of up to 10 people, with three well-defined roles: a Product Owner, a Scrum Master , and a team of Developers. However, on large projects, a small team of 10 people is unlikely to be able to manage everything. Therefore, the Scrum of Scrums (SoS) provides a framework for multiple small teams to work together. When they need to coordinate their efforts, Scrum teams form a Scrum of Scrums (SoS), a team of Scrum teams, which will meet at an event called a Daily Large Scrum (DMS).
A representative from each team involved in the project (often the Scrum Master, otherwise a designated member) attends the MQE meeting. They are said to be the ambassador.
MQE meetings are held either daily or twice a week. However, in all cases, an MQE meeting is held at least once a week.

History of Scrum of Scrums (SOS)
The Scrum of Scrums method was first introduced in 1996 by Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber, the co-founders of the Scrum framework, to coordinate the activities of eight business units that needed to manage multiple product lines simultaneously. They then attempted to bring the eight product teams together to form a meta-team or a " Scrum of Scrums ." In doing so, they laid the foundation for creating an environment in which independent teams could synchronize their efforts more effectively.
But the concept really took off in 2001 after J. Sutherland published a paper titled " Agile Can Scale: Inventing and Reinventing SCRUM in Five Companies ." In it, he described his experience working with hundreds of developers on dozens of products at IDX Systems (now GE Healthcare) and mentioned the Scrum of Scrums for the first time in a published format.
