Redirecting a page with AIOSEO

Post by suchona.kani.z »

First, install and activate AIOSEO on WordPress. For more instructions, you can read our guide on how to install a WordPress plugin .

Then, go to All-in-one SEO ” Redirects.

In the “Redirects” tab, you will need to enter the “Source URL” (your archive page) and the “Destination URL” (the page you want to redirect users to).

It is recommended that you choose a page that matches what visitors might be looking for when they land on the old archive page.

For example, if you have a software review website and want to redirect a category archive for a platform that is no longer available. A good destination URL would be a recent post of yours that explains why the software is no longer available.

This way, visitors get useful information even if the original archive page is gone.

Alternatively, you can redirect the user to the homepage .

Next, you’ll need to choose a “Redirect Type.” You can use “301 Moved Permanently” if you want your cameroon telemarketing data landing page to be the new, permanent home for visitors who accessed the archive page.

Once done, just click on “Add Redirect”.

Now open the old archive page. If you get to the URL of the landing page, the redirection was successful.
