What does Instagram intend with this new update?
Instagram is rolling out a new update to its platform to boost one of its newest features. It's Instagram TV (IGTV). Videos uploaded to this feature can now appear in users' feeds, giving them a sneak peek into the content they might see on IGTV.
For about a month now, this social network has been experimenting with this new way for content creators to engage their followers and hong kong mobile database users in the videos they upload through this feature.
There really aren't many changes. Simply put, videos that appear in our feed and belong to the IGTV platform will be marked at the end of the 60-second window with a button that says "continue watching on IGTV." If the user is interested, they will simply have to click there. When the video is finished, it will automatically return to the feed.
If, on the other hand, the user is interested in continuing to consume content from this feature, they simply swipe up and the IGTV tab will be available.
So, if you're a content creator, you'll need to work hard to capture the user's attention in those first 60 seconds of preview and convince them to continue watching the content you're showing them.
