This Friday, May 26, several government websites, including that of the presidency, were victims of a DDoS attack. Mysterious Team claimed responsibility for this cyberattack, highlighting the security gaps in Senegal's state infrastructure.
During the first issue of the Coin digital show, hosted by IT journalist Basile NIANE, the CEO of Cellule Group, Babacar Charles Ndoye, highlighted the lack of a real defense strategy against cyberattacks in our country. Even though Senegal has several entities dedicated to the fight against cybercrime, there is a lack of coordination, as explained by Sidy Mactar Aidara, CEO of KUBUK .

And today, he is the Managing Director of Cellule Group, an expert firm specializing in Cybersecurity services and Data Protection Training based in Dakar, Senegal.
Sidy Mactar Aidara is a cybersecurity and strategy expert, born in Dakar, Senegal. He founded and managed KUBUK CONSEIL, a cyber strategy and intelligence consulting firm. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the École de Guerre Économique in Paris. He is the Secretary General of DIGITAL 865 PROJECT , which develops digital technology in Senegal. He created the African Cybersecurity Circle, the SECURITYDAYSDAKAR exhibition and the AFRICA T-AWARDS .
In 2018, he organized the meeting of directors general of African gendarmeries. Sidy Mactar Aidara has specialized in network and systems security since 2006 at HSC Paris. He holds a master's and bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of the Sahel in Dakar. He also holds a general university diploma in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science, and a DEUG in mathematics and computer science from Dakar Bourguiba University. Sidy Mactar Aidara is dedicated to serving his country, Senegal, and his continent, Africa.
