How does Google Translate want to take on AI?
On February 8, 2023, Google announced new features for its language translation service, Google Translate. Here are the main features available.

2. The ability to translate the text on your images
With recent developments in AI, it's possible to perform more and more manipulation. Translating text on an image in JPG or PNG format is one of them. And this is what Google Translate will now offer its users.
What? Translation of the text present on an image and direct integration of the translation into the original image
How? Through machine learning.
Where? Currently available on Android phones with more than 6GB of RAM
Why? To make the service even more functional and accessible.
3. A more intuitive interface for the application
You may not have known this, but Google Translate is now available as a mobile app. And with the AI integration comes a new look for this app!
The interface is now more intuitive, facilitating access to certain services such as voice input for example, and allowing translation into a greater number of languages (+33 languages!!)
Currently, this app update is only available for Android devices, but iOS device owners should be able to access it soon.
