Ads don't show their true potential overnight. So forget about creating ads for a few days. You must give them a prudent amount of time to learn, connect with people, and give you valuable information that will allow you to optimize.
Think of them as little plants. Expecting immediate results is like expecting chemical manufacturers email lists a seed to turn into a flower in a single day, it is not realistic. In this commandment, patience is your law. Let your seed (your ad) take root and grow strong. Lord Kelvin once said “what is not defined, cannot be measured. What is not measured, cannot be improved. What is not improved, always degrades” and how true this phrase is. Constant measurement allows you to have a real-time pulse of how your ad is working.
Remember in commandment #2 we told you that you should define your SMART objective? Well, for this point it will be useful, because saying “I want to increase sales” is not the same as saying “Increase sales by 5% compared to the previous campaign.”
Paying attention to the metrics and monitoring your ads allows you to know which aspects are working well and which need adjustments. This will help you make decisions based on data and not assumptions.
