That week had been strange

Post by [email protected] »

You could already see the fear on people's faces while many others continued to downplay the coronavirus, unaware of what was to come.

The first patients were beginning to arrive at hospitals and the emergency rooms were soon overwhelmed 48 hours later. Companies sent their workers home, implementing teleworking in record time to ensure the continuity of their businesses. Schools, universities and nurseries closed their doors.

The same would apply to hospitality, shopping centres, hairdressers, leisure venues such as parks and services declared non-essential at the time.

And so, the moment arrived that we never thought would come true:

Pedro Sánchez: «I have just informed the afghanistan telegram database head of state that an extraordinary Council of Ministers will be held tomorrow to declare a state of emergency throughout our country»

The coronavirus had entered the lives of each and every one of us. Without expecting it, it put our lives on hold, filling our days with fear and prevention ever since.

He came with a desire to be the centre of attention and he got it. We had to stay at home, we had to stop hugging our loved ones, we had to stop kissing our friends, we had to stop travelling, we had to lose jobs.
