Try to explain your image to crawlers in words: what is shown in this image; why it is shown on this page; why the image is in this place in the text. If the alt text is well connected to the rest of the content, it will give better results than stuffing the alt tag with keywords. Help users understand what exactly is in the image if it does not load.

For some technical reasons, images on the page may not be displayed, such as a list of cameroon whatsapp phone numbers slow internet connection, server issues, or something else. A filled alt tag will allow the associated text to be shown, rather than an empty white box. alt is displayed if the user has disabled the display of images in their browser (or if the image simply did not load for some reason).

There are also optional attributes of the alt tag. These are: width — specifies the width (in HTML5 only in pixels) of the embedded image; height — specifies the height (also in pixels only) of the embedded image. These two attributes can be omitted. However, they help the browser by reserving the space needed for the image before it is fully loaded into the browser. This allows the surrounding text to load without waiting for the image to finish loading.
