Facua also warns that with these ads, Facebook is violating both Spanish legislation and its own advertising rules.
In its “Advertising Philosophy,” which can be accessed through bc data america the portal, it states that “advertisements must clearly mention and represent the company, product or brand being advertised.”
It also refers to fraudulent advertising, stating that “ads must not make misleading or fraudulent offers.” It even states that “if the ad includes a price or discount, or if it offers something ‘free’, the destination URL must direct the user to a page where the same conditions stipulated in the ad are clearly offered.”
But Facebook, the Association warns, continues to violate its own advertising rules when advertising online casinos, since the section where it mentions content that is not accepted by the social network includes "games of chance, including online casinos, sports betting, bingo or poker."
