Last month, you could only enter a custom format string in this section. This month, the formatting options on the ribbon have been aligned to make visual formatting even more powerful and simple. This includes formatting settings like Text, Currency, and Integer, and for number formats, options like thousands separator and number of decimal places.

In the Model View Properties panel, if you want to enter a custom format string, you can do so by selecting “Custom.”

Power BI in Teams:
Companies often implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) to protect their digital assets by requiring users to provide two or more verification methods to access a website or application. This kuwait telegram database approach strengthens the security of an organization’s data, preventing unauthorized access that could occur if someone obtained a single password.

Since many of us use Teams in our daily work, we have improved the handling of authentication in Power BI within Teams, where multi-factor authentication has been set up. From now on, if the account is configured with MFA, the user will need to authenticate before launching the Power BI application from Teams, through a new authentication screen.

Multiple organization apps per workspace and also custom colors
When sharing reports across teams, it’s crucial to have a secure, easy-to-use experience that’s tailored specifically to each group’s needs. This is achieved with Power BI workspace apps, now redesigned for Fabric as a new item type: organizational apps. A public preview of these organizational apps as items is coming soon. These apps can be created in capacity workspaces or in Fabric trials (more licenses and capacities will be supported in the future).
