Advertisers will turn their attention to Facebook and YouTube

Neither Facebook nor YouTube have yet achieved sufficient relevance for advertisers. The number of promotions on these sites is increasing, but they do not yet represent a significant market.

Online video platform Hulu will fail
Once again, expectations were failed betting data and Hulu not only did not collapse but has become the sixth largest video site in the US. In addition, it attracts a lot of advertising.

Digg is being acquired
Every year there are predictions that Digg will be acquired by some company, but it never comes to fruition. Last year, Google was on the verge of acquiring the site, but the deal never came to fruition.

A Google competitor will emerge that will overtake it
. For the moment, this is nothing more than an illusion for the rest of the search engines, which are far from catching up with the American giant.

One major newspaper will go digital-only
. That hasn't happened either. Only The Christian Science Monitor will leave newsstands for the web, but not until April 2009.
