on other people’s Stories, not just posts. Previously, people could only react to stories using emojis. However, those with this update can now add specific written thoughts and reactions, which will be visible to anyone viewing the story. The change comes more than a year after Instagram launched the Like Stories feature. Those not interested in Hype Comments can turn off the feature in Settings. The update began rolling out to some users on December 5, with a notification appearing after enabling access, but it may take a while before all users have it.
